A Message from the Red Cross
Over 900 units of blood are needed daily in our area hospitals, so every pint of blood is vitally important. Statistics show that 95% of us will need blood at some point between birth and age 72 and somebody needs blood every 12 seconds. Your continuing commitment to the American Red Cross Blood Program makes it possible for us to keep up with this overwhelming demand. On behalf of those whose lives have been and will be saved because of your contribution, we thank you!

BRING YOUR ID!
Donor card, driver's license or 2 forms of ID are needed to donate.

Fellow Members:
We encourage you to attend the blood bank in your area and to bring along any adult family members who may wish to give. You are eligible to donate blood if you are 17 years of age or older, in good health and weigh at least 105 pounds. There is no upper age limit to donate. Giving blood is easy, quick, painless and safe. To ensure that you receive pay for participating in the blood bank all donors must sign in with Local 19 and the Red Cross. The Red Cross will determine all deferrals.
